I came across this today while "studying." I think it is the coolest thing ever. Wallpaper your fridge. I am so tempted.

I forgot my car.
Yesterday evening, I had to go take a test. I was out running errands right before so instead of dropping my car off at home and walking, I just decided to drive and park it on campus.
The entire time I was taking my test, I kept mentally reminding myself that I had driven and not to walk home. I must have told my self that about ten times.
I finished my test, pulled out my keys as I left the testing center and started walking towards my car. I don't know what I was thinking, but next thing I knew I realized I had walked 3/4 of the way home. I felt so dumb. I had to turn around and walk all the way back to campus to get my car.

Holi-Festival of Colors.
Saturday night, I went with my roomies to the Hare Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork for the Holi-Festival of Colors. It is a celebration to welcome spring where you go and throw colored chalk at people. It was going to be so much fun!
However... we were there a little late and all the chalk was gone when we got there. So Sad.
But we weren't going to let that spoil our fun. We decided we would buy some chalk and have a festival of our own.

But we weren't going to let that spoil our fun. We decided we would buy some chalk and have a festival of our own.
So, we went to WalMart and bought some sidewalk chalk. Then, we went home and ground it up with cans.
Then we went the park behind our house and had our own little Holi-Festival of Colors. Fun.
We were very chalky.
We also used some construction chalk from Home Depot. Apparently it was toxic. I think it may have gotten to Melissa.
Sorry these pictures are so small. I stole them from Stacy and couldn't get them any bigger.
Manti.
On Saturday my ward went on a temple trip to the Manti Temple.
The bus left at 5:00 AM. I went to bed at 2:30 AM... you do the math. It was painful to be up and dressed that early.
The temple was so pretty though...I couldn't believe it. It was such a great experience. It was definitely worth waking up early for.
I hung out with the married-couple-to-be, Stacy and Steve, all day. They were very nice to let me be their third wheel.

SWKT.
I ran into my friend Jon today in the SWKT ten minutes before my next class. We talked for a bit and then found it necessary to ride the elevator to the top of the building. Quite an educational experience. For example, did you know that the SWKT is the tallest building in Provo? Or that the four corners of the building are oriented to the four points of the compass?
We rode the elevator to the highest floor it would go and then took the stairs to the top. To our dismay, we couldn't go out onto the roof. But apparently, you can take a tour that will let you. We rode back down just in time for me to get to class. Good Times.
Pendulum Court.
The Pendulum Court is the best place to eat on campus... it is amazing. Its a lab for the Dietetics major where they make and serve nutritious food. No one seems to know about it though. The person who introduced me to it called it the "Hidden Treasure of BYU." Unfortunately, this was the last week and now it is closed for the semester... no Pendulum Court until fall. Ally and I went on Tuesday and they were serving my favorite dish, the Japanese Chicken. I'm working on getting the recipe.
Go here to look at the menu and see pictures of the yummy food.

Haircuts and Saturday Night.
Ally and I spent our St. Patrick's Day getting haircuts. SUCCESS!
We celebrated our new hair by going out for Chinese food with Drew, JR and a bunch of their buddies. We went to a few St. Patrick's Day parties but that was short lived. We ended up just going back and watched Casino Royale. It was a good movie.
JR got a new motorcycle. I had to test it out and make sure it was good enough for him. I approve JR, I approve.

I should be studying or something.
I got a little distracted today while studying.
I tried a bunch a different pictures of myself and everytime it said I looked most like Lisa Snowdon... whoever she is.
I'm not sure what they were thinking about with that whole Halle Berry thing.

Mansion Party.
Friday night we had plans to go to this big party. It was the "Mansion Party" and for some reason the location was "hidden/undisclosed." You had to get on a "party bus" which would shuttle you back and forth. We get there at 10:30, pay the $5 and wait in line for the next bus to come. The bus finally comes and is packed with people getting off of it... the cops had come and shut down the party because of firecode violations. Lame.
Kitty Litter Cake.
Thursday was Stacy's 21st Birthday. We celebrated with a Kitty Litter Cake
It looked so gross. I couldn't bring myself to eat it.
Since it was her 21st birthday, we bought her a lot of 'booze'... BYU style.
Root Beer, Sparking Cider and Apple Beer
She just got engaged so I thought it would be funny to give her a plethora of bridal magazines. I spent a small fortune buying every bridal magazine known to man. Those things are expensive.
Happy Birthday Stacy!

The element of the day is... Peanut Butter
At the beginning of this semester, my chemistry professor had us each write down our favorite element and and explanation why it is our favorite. He uses them for the "Element of the Day" at the beginning of each class. Today Ally's was the Element of the Day:
It is a little hard to read. Her favorite element is Lead because "It's symbol is Pb which is also the initials of my favorite food, peanut butter."
What a nerd.

I got booted...
They changed the parking rules for the parking lot next to my apartment. Instead of being booted only after 11 p.m., now they can boot you anytime they want. I loathe them.
That's $50 I'll never see again.
