Paris.

After a very, very long plane ride, we finally arrived in Paris. We were so tired and jet-lagged, we could barely function. We went to bed really early. I was able to get in a good 9 hours of sleep in, Ally got about 4 hours and my got a grand total of 1 hour of sleep.
The first thing we did the next day way shop.
H&M... the reason I went to Europe. I found a whole lot of things and as usual, Ally found nothing.
After shopping, we started making our way towards the Louvre. We were so jet-lagged.
We came across this while we were walking to the Louvre and thought it was Notre Dame. We were wrong.
Outside of the Louvre. I've never been a fan of those glass pyramids.
We got lost within the first five minutes of looking around and we just sat there for awhile... we were so pathetic.

The Winged Victory of Samothrace... my favorite.

The next day we started out with the Musuem D'Orsay

My mom is an artist so she was pretty excited to see all the impressionist art.

Next, we went to the Champs-Élysées and had lunch and went to all the high-end designer stores.
The Arc de Triomph... I'm a fan

Italy, Slovenia and Croatia

We flew into Vicenza, Italy and stayed with Anthon's parents who live there. They were nice enough to show us around and even take us to Slovenia and Croatia.
The Petty's house.
Dinners at Ada's.
We stopped for lunch at this amazing restaurant in Slovenia. We went there again on our way back to Italy
Frank and Beth stayed at this hotel in Croatia 20 years ago. We were looking for it the entire time we were driving but couldn't find it. It wasn't until we saw it on a postcard in a shop that they figured out where it was.
We crashed a Croatian wedding. The Flower Girl and Ring Bearer were fighting.
We had bunk-beds at the Bed and Breakfast we stayed at.
Our Croatian Breakfast.

The owners of the Bed and Breakfast. Very nice people. He smoked about 4 packs of cigarettes a day.
One of the villages we drove through had a million restaurants with pigs cooking like this.

Frank wanted to try the pig.
Pretty Croatia.

Venice.

We took a train to Venice and spent the day there. We did the usual exploring the city, traveling around on water taxis and what not. Among other things, we went over to Merona to buy some Merona glass.

The best part of the day was feeding the pigeons at St. Marks Square. The moment you got the food the birds would just swarm you . They would perch on your arms and head and crowd around your feet. It was so much fun. We went back three times to get more food. Our arms and legs were so scratched up by the end.

Paris: The Second Time Around.

We flew back to Paris for a day before heading home to the states. This was our "Eiffel Tower Day." We stayed in a hotel 2 blocks away from the Eiffel Tower and we were ashamed of ourselves for not even going close to it the 3 prior days we were there.

We bypassed the elevator and decided to take the stairs up. It really wasn't that bad.

At the top. I really liked looking out and finding all the landmarks like Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomph.
My pretty mom.

I think this picture is pretty funny. I was snarling at Ally because she was bugging me while my mom was trying to take my picture.

Later that night, we sat at a sidewalk cafe and drank Perrier while watching the Eiffel Tower light show.

We also made it to Notre Dame that day. Ally got lost on the Subway on the way there. I thought it was hilarious and was laughing the entire time we were sitting and waiting for her to find her way back. My mom and Ally weren't too amused though.

2001 things to do before I die.

I got this book my junior year in high school, crossed off a few things and then completely forgot about it. I came across it a few days ago and decided to start it up again.

This book is just one big list of things to do before you die. It has everything from learn to sing "Happy Birthday" in three languages to own a kooky umbrella. There are really easy things such as wear your seatbelt, have a V-8 and try a Krispy Kreme fresh from the oven. Then there are some seemingly impossible ones such as caddy for Tiger Woods, travel to another planet and rent a Virgin Island. There are also some pretty random ones too like videotape yourself eating and play it backwards.

I've decided that from now on I am going to cross off at least one thing per week.

I went through the entire book (all 2,001 things) and found everything I need to do while I am in Europe. This should be fun...

Sunny Sequim.

This is my parents' house here in Sequim. The entire back side is all windows and it has the most amazing panoramic view of the water and city. I tried to take a picture of the view but I just couldn't do it justice. You just have to see it for yourself...

Olympic Game Farm.

I've been in Sequim for the last couple weeks (and will be here until the end of June).
On Monday, we went to the Olympic Game Farm. The Olympic Game Farm is kind of like a giant petting zoo where you drive around in your car and feed all the animals bread. It was so much fun. The animals were hilarious and we were laughing the entire time.

First, there was Prairie-Dog Town. The seagulls seems to have taken over though.

Then there were the Llamas who chased down our car when we tried to drive away.

The animals would sneak up on you and stick their head in the window.

The rhino looked sad.

The buffaloes were huge. They would stand in the middle of the road and you had to drive around them. A buffalo started attacking the car in front of us.

They tried sticking their head in the window but they were too big.

The bears would sit up and do tricks for food.
There were also other animals like lions and tigers but they were all caged up.

10 days from now...

I will be on a plane to Europe.
2 weeks of Paris and Italy with Ally and my mom.

In Paris, we are going to be staying here at the Hotel de Londres Eiffel. It's a cute little hotel right by the Eiffel Tower.
