Weddings.

Melissa just got engaged bringing a grand total of two of my roommates getting married this summer. So, a few weekends ago we went out wedding dress shopping for the two of them.
It was an... interesting experience.

First of all, we were all a little burned out from school and everything. None of us had much energy. Second of all, the wedding dress market in Utah is not very... cute. They had some really, really bad dresses. Stacy and Melissa were able to find some good ones to try on though.

Look at them up there...

They didn't actually end up getting anything. It was really fun shopping with my bride-to-be roommates though.

Ally didn't think she was getting enough attention. They wouldn't let her try on any of the wedding dresses so she made it a personal goal to find the most hideous bridesmaid dress. I think she succeeded. Don't let the picture fool you... it was horrible.

Finally done.

It's official. I am done with finals.

Everything went well and I am pleased with all my grades. My last final was a pretty miserable experience though.
The line to the testing center was ridiculous. It stretched across campus all the way to the JFSB. It took me two hours to get in to take my Chem 106 final. It was like being in Disneyland, execpt it definitely wasn't the happiest place on Earth. I'd think I was almost to the front of the line and then I'd turn a corner and see that I had a lot more to go.
I finally got my test at 7:30 and didn't get out of there until 10:30... what a great day.

Here are some shots of the line I had to endure. This was only the beginning...

Only one more day until I'm in Sequim doing... absolutely nothing :)

Jay comes home.

My friend Jay Brown got off his mission from Chicago a few weeks ago. Today was his homecoming. Ally, Erik (who came down from Idaho to go skiing) and I drove up to see him speak at church and have breakfast afterwards. It was pretty fun. It was good to see him again and catch up.

Forever 21.

Finals have begun. And how did Ally and I spend our precious studying time on Wednesday?
We went up to Salt Lake for the grand opening of Forever 21.

The weather was miserable (it was snowing the entire time), my bank account is starting to run low (its time to go back to Sequim and work) and I was stressing out over the fact the I should have been studying...
It was totally worth it though. All my worries went out the door the moment I walked in. The place was two stories tall!! I came out of there with a big bag of clothes and feeling very satisfied.

Now I just need to buy some shoes to match my new clothes.

Easter Eggs.

What's Easter without Easter Eggs?

This Saturday, all the roomies and such dyed Easter Eggs together.
Fun Times. Pretty Colors. Egg Salad for the next week.

These beauties were mine. We were limited on eggs so I only got to make four.
Too bad...I was just warming up.

We followed up the egg dying with a trip to the Malte Shoppe for Shakes. Yum.

Conference Breakfast.

We had a Sunday Morning Conference Breakfast...
Chatham Towne #36 style.

Josh made his amazing Belgian Waffles. He uses this special pearlized sugar.
There are no words.

Melissa and Stacy invited their friends... Ally and I kinda forgot to. Whoops.

Pansies.

I had a craving to plant some pansies. So that's just what I did last weekend.

I dragged Ally along to Lowe's with me and we bought a plethora of pansies.

It took us awhile to pick out the ones we wanted. I had to have the prettiest ones.

I convinced Stacy to help me too.

I failed to buy a watering can... so for now I use a bowl.

And yes, I did wear black and purple on purpose to match the flowers... Don't judge me.
