Cell Phone.

Yes, that is my cell phone in a bowl of rice.

An unfortunate incident happened last week involving my cell phone in my purse and an open water bottle. Needless to say, my phone ended up a little water-logged and and no longer worked. I remembered reading an article a few weeks back that had said if your phone gets wet, put it in a bowl of rice and the rice would absorb the water. Desperate and not looking forward to buying a replacement phone, I gave it a try. Next thing you know my phone was working again.

I'm not sure if it was the rice or not but either way, I'm not complaining.
